For the last 5 or 6 years, we have produced annual Halloween displays. They are generally created over the summer holiday and September and are displayed n the 31st of October. We’ve done light sequence displays, ghosts with moving eyes, ghosts that disappear and a creepy picture who’s eyes follow you wherever you go. We solder, uses a glue gun, light strips, raspberry pis, arduinos, motion snsors and come up with something new every year.
ZettaMicron was created so that we could post and keep a record of our electronic projects. We produce these projects multiple times a year, with the help of lab manager, Icon. Then our tester, Chip, checks that it works and suggests how it can be improved or modified. There are many projects we’re proud of (RetroBox, the Bob ghosts etc.) and there are a lot of projects we’re hoping to produce in the future.
