Joining NADHack

By beep! | 10 July 2017

On the 6th of July, we decided to visit NADHack.

NADHack is the Newbury and District Hackspace and was created to promote and encourage technical, scientific, creative and artistic skills through collaboration and education in Newbury and the surrounding areas. They are home to an amazing range of machinery, such as pillar drills, 3D printers, laser cutters and a lot more.

Every summer, I do an electronics project. Last year it was RetroBox (a game machine) and this year I’m working on something else. I also do electronic Halloween displays every year. I wish that I’d know about Hackspace before as it would’ve been really helpful when creating the projects. Now I’m a fully fledged member!

If you are interested in NADHack or any of the Hackspaces and would like to know more, here is the link.

They also have an open evening on Thursday from 7pm to 9pm so why not try it?
